Summer's impact will soon be felt on bentgrass roots. The rains of May = saturated soils + Pythium root rot on putting greens. Large patch is firing and expanding in untreated zoysia at the MU turf farm. Large patch, like this showing on previously untreated zoysia, will be ready to rumble soon. Similar to March 2012, dollar spot arrived early on bentgrass in mid Missouri to join yellow patch.
